The updated model of the new Sentra recently made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show.
The latest model of the 2016 Nissan Sentra was recently released. The debut took place at the Los Angeles Auto Show. The new 2016 Sentra contains plenty of new updates. The 2016 Sentra sedan comes with even more safety technology. In addition the new Sentra has the latest interior and exterior styling.
“For 2016, we’re giving our popular Sentra a complete makeover – that’s three-for-three for our top sedans,” said Fred Diaz, senior vice president, Sales & Marketing and Operations, U.S.A., Nissan North America, Inc., during remarks to the media. “Like Altima, we’re taking a powerful nameplate and making it even better.”
The new Sentra is similar in design to the latest Maxima and Altima. The refreshed 2016 Sentra also has the design of the V-shaped nose. The hood of the Sentra has also been redesigned as a result. In addition the new Sentra comes with boomerang-shaped headlights. The headlights feature LED low beams on the SR and SL trims. Updated taillights have also been added to the new Sentra.
Even the seat fabrics of the Sentra have been upgraded. The interior also has as a new steering wheel and shift knob. Even the center console design has been tweaked with in the Sentra. The Sentra comes in different trims such as the SV, SR, and SL trims. All the trims feature the 5.0-inch Advanced Drive-Assist Display. The display is placed between the tachometer and speedometer.
The Sentra’s most significant feature is the presence of many driver assistance systems. The systems depend upon the trim levels. The SR and SL trims contain the Intelligent Cruise Control and Forward Emergency Braking. They are part of the 2016 Sentra technology package.
“The new Sentra launches from a position of real strength in the marketplace, especially with a starting price of $16,780,” added Diaz. “And for less than $20,000, customers can purchase a Sentra SV with Driver Assist Package, which includes the innovative active safety features customers highly desire and utilize on a daily basis – such as Blind Spot Warning and Rear Cross Traffic Alert.”

Full pricing on all grade levels and packages of 2016 Nissan Sentra will be announced later. 2016 Nissan Sentra will go on sale at Nissan dealers nationwide in late December.
