Since small business owners wanted a bulkier clientele, this wish was granted thanks to the efforts of American Express.
Small Business Saturday is normally held on the Saturday following Thanksgiving. All the community members get together in order to show their full support and care for the local commercial enterprises.

A majority of consumers are in fact willing to pay slightly higher in order to get a local product or service despite budgetary constraints. This shows loyalty and fealty to the art of acting locally.
About 35% of the clientele do their shopping at local malls. And 45% of the customers will spend more this year than they did in the previous year. Finally, 65% believe firmly in the newly established tradition and think that it increases local camaraderie and brotherhood.
Small businesses are the lifeblood of the local community. They provide the best at a regional and indigenous level. What more could the natives want? Shopping is an experience. And it can prove to be therapeutic in its essence.
