Starting from today, the new Amazon Fire tablet will become available to Chinese customers for only RMB 499 Yuan. Fire tablet is Amazon’s fastest-selling tablet with millions of pieces already sold worldwide.

The Amazon Fire tablet distributed in China will feature numerous Kindle books in the thousands, and it will have Word Wise – an English-learning feature that will make it easy for Chinese users to relate to the features of the device. This means the tablet will provide native Chinese speakers with the digital help to learn English language via special features integrated into the system.
To this extent, Amazon entered into partnership with Baidu to provide hundreds of apps, search capability, and video experiences among others to users using the Fire tablet in the most populous country of the world.
“We’ve already sold millions of Fire tablets since launch, and we’re excited to now make it available to customers in China,” said Neil Lindsay, Vice President, Amazon Devices.
“With millions of readers already using Kindle e-readers in China, we’re excited to now offer another incredibly affordable option, particularly for customers learning to read English. With tools and features like Word Wise and Blue Shade, plus a large selection of Chinese and English content, we think readers will love the new Fire tablet,” Linday added.
