A younger version of Spider-Man played by Tom Holland will make its debut in the upcoming Marvel film.
It is official. Audiences will see the new Spider-Man in Captain America: Civil War. The upcoming film will be released on the 6th of May 2016. However since the debut of the trailer already buzz has started around the film.

In 2015 a deal was struck between Marvel and Sony. The unorthodox license-sharing deal allows Marvel Studios to use Spider-Man as a supporting character. Both of the studios partnered on producing Spider-Man films in the future.
However this Spider-Man was supposed to be a teenager, so Andrew Garfield was out. The character of a young Spidey then went to the 19-year-old actor Tom Holland. The stand-alone Spider-Man movie will come out somewhere in 2017. The film has been scheduled to be directed by Jon Watts.
Fans have been speculating on the presence of characters in the upcoming Marvel film. it is now clear Spider-man will be featured in the Marvel Universe. Chris Evans flat out refused to talk about the development. It seems he is contractually not obligated to talk about it.
Sbastian Stan seemed genuinely confused by the news. Iron Man or should we say Robert Downey Jr. spilled the beans. First Downey came into the studio with someone wearing a full Spider-Man suit.

Then later in an interview Downey shared the presence of even Spider-Man is just crazy in the film. However sometimes Marvel shoots things and then does not use them.
