Here are some super diet and exercise tips from the lives of VS models. They worked hard to get where they are today and their superior fitness is not solely due to good genes.

What’s up with the washboard abs and the bubble butts? Or how do these VS models and Angels get their fit busts and hourglass figures in the first place? A few models were interviewed and their fitness and diet secrets were noted down.

There’s no doubt about the fact that they have to make heaven and earth meet in order to get the buff physiques they possess on stage. But it is not impossible. With a little bit of extra effort put in each day along with care in matters of nutritional intake, the job can be done. 

Eniko Mihalik told The Coveteur that she cares for her body as if it were a car that needs to be road-tested and given the right fuel. And that means high octane fuel. It is all about choice as regards what you put in your mouth.

That does not necessarily mean low-fat options. It is better to eat whole foods. She doesn’t take any dietary supplements either. As for her workouts, she engages in them four to five times a week.

Nutritionally, greek yogurt with honey is an all-time favorite. Nuts are also liked by Eniko. Other natural foods such as carrots, apples and dark chocolate are preferred snacks. As for her workouts, she plans ahead especially when there is no gym.

Bootcamp and pole dancing are two routines she likes to engage in for her fitness needs. She takes care not to eat any food which cause bloating about 24 hours before a show. Also, Eniko cuts her salt intake so she won’t hold any water beneath her skin.

Other models like Sigrid Agren engage in boxing sessions which allow her to sweat off those pounds. She absolutely adores a salad with lots of greens in it. Then tuna and brown rice are a favorite combination.

Fresh fruit combined with yogurt are another likely snack. Her way of losing kilos includes skipping rope and yoga. As for some of the rest of the models, they engage in Pilates, have a grapefruit for breakfast and often pump out squat after squat at the gym.

Carb cutting is another strategy that works brilliantly. Eggs, olive oil and gazpacho figure in the lunch routine of others. Also some try to run instead of forgoing their favorite foods.  

Besides this there are thousands of other small tweaks and tips that if followed could lead to a fitter, leaner body. Cutting out sugar is one of the most effective.

And incorporating fruits and fruit juice in your diet is another thing that keeps your complexion rosy and glowing all day long. Oatmeal is the best breakfast food and fast food must be avoided at all costs. Oily, sugary and salty food is allowed only once in a blue moon.  

While carb cutting is a perfect strategy to lose weight, it is not the be all and end all of dieting. Skimp on too many carbs and you will suffer the consequences. Ketosis is not a very pleasant condition to be in.

The body becomes acidic as a result and you get that hangdog look that you want to avoid at a show. Cardio is definitely part of the equation. All that sweating away on the stationary bike will get anyone fit in no time. And the models tend to swap their routines once in a while in order to keep it fresh and keep the body guessing. 

All in all, it is pretty hard work. But the VS models do have some advice for the ordinary lady looking to get fit. They say, that the outsider must look to her own self and decide how far she wants to take it. Fitness is not a one size fits all thing.

It depends upon the person’s limitations and capabilities. If you are an active person with a vibrant lifestyle by all means go for it. But suppose you weigh 300 pounds and want to weigh 155 pounds, well it will take more than a year or even years. Don’t expect the impossible to occur and that too within days.

A little bit of care when eating goes a long way. Even a few bites skipped could lead to considerable weight loss within a year. And the slightest extra exertion could add up to quite a few calories burnt in the long run. Going for a walk is basic and you will feel better too.

Running, jogging and skipping rope might be other options for those who have the will to follow such a routine. It is up to you. But don’t do something stupid like start sprinting each and every day since then you will set yourself up for injury.
