Arnold made a plea to all responsible people in authority to pay attention to the conundrum of global warming. The issue cannot be ignored any longer, said Arnie with a lot of emphasis in his voice. It looks like the Terminator wants to terminate any excuses as far as climate change is concerned.
Arnie wrote on his Facebook page that he saw through the questions asked on his homepage by his fans and friends. He said that every time he posted a message regarding global warming or pollution on his page, the questions started coming fast and loose.
Arnold said that there were always those few who had a tendency of questioning everything including the obvious. He said that they ought to question the questions too. Arnie spoke of how many of them tended to quote conspiracy theories and say that climate change was a hoax. Also some of them used four letter words, said Arnie.
Arnold asked the questions that ought to be asked to these questioners. He said that when 7 million people died each year due to pollution, wasn’t it more lives lost than were wasted in the form of homicides, suicides and vehicular accidents.
Every day, 19,000 people died due to pollution from fossil fuels such as petrol, coal and gas. Was this okay? What if tomorrow’s children had to be born with inhalers? Finally, Arnie spoke of how oil and coal could not be the choices as regards fuel sources in the future.
Not only do fossil fuels destroy our health but they undergo depletion to boot. Arnold said that he did not want to be the last one standing who issued warnings as the world turned a deaf ear to the riddle of pollution. Clean energy sources were a wise and prudent investment.
Not only were they good for the economy, but in his own home state of California, this change would prove to be salubrious. Arnold mentioned how the economy of California was growing faster than the economy of the nation as a whole.
On a last note, Arnie said that he was going to use the same four letter words his accusers used. He said that he didn’t care a damn whether they believed in climate change or not. But he hoped they would join him on a journey towards a better future where clean energy and a pristine environment reigned supreme.
