The availability is considered to be exclusive. As mentioned only selected stores will have the speakers for now, the open availability will start from 2016.
Devialet's 750-watt Phantom, $1,990, and 3,000-watt Silver Phantom speakers, $2,390, are currently the third and second most expensive speakers available in Apple Stores.
The top position is already taken by Bang & Olufsen's BeoPlay A9 floor-standing unit.
The white pods are quite heavy in price but have received praise and acclamation from The Absolute Sound, Wired, SoundStage! and Rolling Stone.
Devialet CEO Quentin Sanniéin his statement said that working with Apple was a dream of Devialet since its birth.
He also said that their products are similar to Apple’s products in quality, re-invention and the worldwide praise from the customers.
CEO also said that the Phantom is fueled by high investment nearly $25M and around 10 years of R&D.
Phantom has the most recent technology adopted from the company’s high-end amplifier lineup.
Similar to this is another platform which is called Analog/Digital Hybrid (ADH) Intelligence.
It combines Class A (analog) and Class D (digital) amplification to produce sound at unprecedented volume.
Other developments of the company includes Speaker Active Matching (SAM) tech.
It optimizes the response of a driver within no time. It also includes a unique spherical architecture for equal dispersal of sound.
It is also proved that a single Phantom can fill the room with omnidirectional sound.
Users can also pair them with Devialet's Dialog audio router for better stereo output.
It is also proven by many different experiments that up to 24 Phantoms can be paired together.
Apple’s Mac and iPhone owners can connect with Devialet's Spark app through Wi-Fi, TOSLINK optical input or Bluetooth. A2DP and AVRCP, aptX, AAC and SBC audio codecs profiles are supported.
Audio formats include HE AAC (V1), AAC (16 to 320 kbit/s), WMA, WMA lossless (16 bit only), MP3 (16 to 320 kbit/s), MP3 VBR, Apple Lossless, AIFF, WAV, FLAC, OGG, VORBIS.
