Honda's luxury brand Acura will be featured in a Super Bowl 2016 ad.
Honda announces an Acura Super Bowl 50 ad. Acura had its first Super Bowl ad in 2012 featuring the NSX concept car and Jerry Seinfeld. Now the Acura NSX is finally goes into production. The 2017 NSX hybrid supercar will have V6 500hp petrol engine and three electric motors adding 73hp.

"As the Acura brand continues to gain momentum and the next-generation NSX supercar is about to make its market debut as the pinnacle expression of Acura performance and prestige, the Super Bowl is the perfect place for Acura to make a powerful brand statement to one of the largest viewing audiences in American history, and one that is incredibly attentive to advertising," said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura.
Acura is one of the fastest growing luxury brands in America. The company says it is on track for its fifth consecutive year of increased sales and its best annual sales total since 2007. Acura truck sales remain on pace for a record year with combined sales of MDX and RDX, while Acura sedan sales are up more than 20 percent in 2015. More than 98 percent of Acura models sold in North America are built in the region.
There are no specific details yet on the content of the Acura Super Bowl 50 ad. The 2017 Acura NSX got already tested by car magazines like Ignition. The new NSX is packed with technology that makes driving the car like playing a video game says Janson Cammisa. Watch his test drive below.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.

CBS is the lucky TV network to broadcast Super Bowl 50. The Super Bowl 2016 game will be preceded by a weeklong series of public events held throughout the Bay Area.
