Acura announced today the price of the new 2017 Acura NSX.
The Acura Super Bowl 50 Ad will feature the most expensive car ever advertised in a Super Bowl commercial. Today Acura announced the price of the new 2017 Acura NSX that will be the star in the Acura Super Bowl 50 ad. The new NSX has an MSRP of $156,000. This beats the Mercedes AMG GT S, that the German car maker featured in an entertaining Super Bowl ad earlier this year. The Mercedes AMG GT S has an MSRP of $130,000.
Update 02/03/16: Audi just kicked Acura from the top of the list of most expensive car advertised in a Super Bowl. The Audi Super Bowl 50 ad features the $189,900 Audi R8 V10 plus.

The new NSX will launch in the Spring and $156,000 is the base price. Fully tricked out the supercar will reach $205,700.
"The NSX is the pinnacle expression of Acura precision crafted performance and we're thrilled to take the next step toward bringing it to market," said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of the Acura Division. "We're creating new space within the supercar realm, pushing the envelope beyond the conventional thinking about supercars – just like the original NSX."
Customers can order the new NSX starting on Feb. 25, 2016 at authorized NSX retailers.
Acura also revealed today plans to auction off the very first serial production NSX, VIN 001, at the Barrett-Jackson collector car auction in Scottsdale, AZ the last week of January 2016. All proceeds from the auction sale will go to a pair of children's charities: the Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation and Camp Southern Ground, the passion project of Grammy Award-winning artist Zac Brown.
The 2017 NSX hybrid supercar will have V6 500hp petrol engine and three electric motors adding 73hp.
Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.
