Today Synology announced it will preview products from its upcoming 2016 line at CES. The most important by Synology is the Network Attachment Storage (NAS).

NAS is probably one of the best kept secrets in the consumer electronics industry. According to Synology, the NAS is the next generation of private cloud technology. The NAS also functions as a file server, multimedia server, and file backup.
According to Alex Wang the CEO of Synology the CES platform has been excelling for over 40 years. Wang stated that CES has helped companies launch the world's most innovative technologies.
So Synology is proud to introduce the evolution of private cloud solutions at CES 2016. Wang also stated they will take a new route on the global stage of CES 2016.
"For over 40 years, CES has helped companies launch the world's most innovative consumer technologies," said Synology Chief Executive Officer Alex Wang. "And Synology is proud to introduce the evolution of private cloud solutions and a new router, on this global stage."
The NAS by Synology is capable of 4K transcoding. NAS can stream H.264 4K / 1080p video on HD TVs, media players, mobile handsets, and computers. Sinology will also be presenting a router called the RT1900ac.
The first ever router by the company has already earned the CES 2016 Innovation Honoree Award. The router is a router, private cloud, and media server in one device.
Furthermore Synology will also feature the 2-bay DS216 and the 4-bay DS416j. Similarly Synology will also release new Apple Watch apps, and mobile applications.

The Consumer Electronics Show 2016 will take place from the 6th to the 9th of January, 2016. The CES 2016 will take place in Las Vegas, Nevada with 3600 exhibitors from around the globe. More than 150, 000 attendees will come to the exhibition. The CES convention is organized by the Consumer Technology Association.
