  • CES 2016: Delegation from the French region Auvergne Rhône-Alpes to attend!

France will again be one of the best-represented countries at this year’s CES with an expected 119 exhibitors of the 404 companies. More than 34 innovative technology businesses originating from Auvergne Rhône-Alpes will be showcasing.

A delegation will be attending the CES 2016. The delegation will be representing the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region from France. More than 34 innovative technology businesses will be showcasing from the Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region.

France will also be one of the best-represented countries at CES 2016. France will have about 119 exhibitors out of 404 companies at the CES 2016.

Especially start-ups from the France’s Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region will be particularly well-represented. The delegation will attend the CES under the French Tech banner.

The delegation will comprise of about 34 members. About 24 members of the delegation will also be exhibiting at Eureka Park at CES 2016.

The delegation will make up 20% of the French companies exhibiting in the special start-up section. The French will surpass exhibitors from even Israel, UK and Germany at CES 2016.  

The delegation holds stakeholders encompassing the entire digital value chain. Their products range from innovative sensors to solutions for the IoT.

Even revolutionary user interfaces and web services are being showcased by the French exhibitors. The technological products are aimed for a range of uses such as healthcare, sustainable energy, smart homes etc. 

The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region has a population of over 7.7 million. The region has a GDP of over €240 billion with 136,500 jobs in the digital economy.

It is also the home of 11,200 companies. Eight members of the delegation have already been announced as recipients of awards at the CES.

Our entrepreneurs are creative and dynamic, as evidenced by our vibrant startup community. The Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region has a particularly strong position in digital innovation. It is one of the only places in the world with equally powerful innovation capabilities in micro and nanoelectronics and software—the perfect combination of know-how to drive advances in fields like the Internet of Things,” said Minalogic General Manager Isabelle Guillaume.

In 2016 over 3600 exhibitors will attend the Consumer Electronics Show to display their products. The CES 2016 will carry on from the 6th until the 9th of January, 2016 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
