The Peraso W110 chipset is used in WiGig applications. The chipset is a standard requirement for the Wi-Fi networks. The W110 chipset can incorporate a USB 3.0 system interface.

According to Glibbery the production of their WiGig chipset is a major milestone in the advancement of the WiGig ecosystem.
The production will allow rapis deployment of the WiGig in variety of legacy USB 3.0 enabled devices. The chipset will also be employed in new applications such as high speed networking and wireless storage.
Peraso announced it will demonstrate the W110 chipset and several WiGig 802.11ad applications at CES. At CES 2016 Peraso will highlight the benefits of the chipset in a variety of wireless scenarios.
Peraso will discuss how WiGig delivers networking capabilities on a traditional Wi-Fi network. For example an external WiGig USB adaptor can be used with notebooks and tablets to provide full tri-band solution benefits.
The WiGig is also capable of delivering wire-speed file transfers. The WiGig is ideal for extremely high bandwidth demands of 4k screens.
