According to Rentrak, the coming weekend will be a busy holiday weekend at the box office. It is possible that over the next week 2015 would eventually earn $11 billion at the box office. It would make 2015 the biggest box office year of all time.
Many are predicting the second The Force Awakens’ weekend will bring in around $150 million. The numbers mean The Force Awakens is most likely headed for another record-breaking weekend.
So far The Force Awakens has made an estimated $325.4 million along with a global total of $689.4 million as of Tuesday, reported THR.
Among the new releases, the most notable is the family comedy Daddy’s Home. According to analysts the comedy is expected to top the newcomers.

Daddy’s Home stars Will Ferrell and Mark Wahlberg in the main roles. The film is expected to have a weekend ranging from $20 to $22 million. But the reviews have not been phenomenal and it will open in 3,200 locations.
