  • Scientific Technique could make you more Creative in No Time

There is a scientific technique that could make you more creative in no time.

There is actually a quick method of triggering your creative depths and accessing your powerful unconscious. And that is to take a shower. While showering is indeed very soothing, it has deeper benefits for the mind.

Everything from creative insights to hunches are activated thanks to the artificial rain of a shower. People around the world get more ideas and envision fresh concepts when they are in a soaking wet state beneath a shower.

In fact, a shower is a more productive place as far as one’s mental workshop is concerned than one’s workplace. Those stuck in their cubicles staring at a computer screen fully know that creativity is the last thing on their mind.

They actually want to get away from this SNAFU. And most would avoid work of such a kind like the plague for it is boring, stifling and unproductive to the extreme.

However, when these same people get up for a trip to the washroom, things change context, according to HuffingtonPost. Their mind starts working. Even a quick jaunt around the block is enough to clear the mental cobwebs.

The sort of incubation required for the mental cogs and gears to function only takes place when you get away from it all. Precisely when you let the mind experience a lull and let it wander through fantasyland, the creativity is turned on in scads.

This may be a strange phenomenon but it is true. The “Aha!” moment is dependent upon the milieu. A dull and grey surrounding is hardly the context for creativity to flourish in.

In particular, criticism is inimical to the creative process. It needs wings to soar into the empyrean heights of the imagination where all things are possible.

In a shower, incubation takes place ever so subtly. The change of scenery and the revolution in relaxation both result in a flow of ideas. The mind tends to connect stuff on a rapid basis and all the ideas that it comes up with in turn undergo many permutations and combinations.

Therefore, remember that change will do you good. The fixation of a single-track mind is disabled when you are showering. Thus taking a cold shower is the ideal way of inspiring one’s creative juices.

Woody Allen, that neurotic genius, used this very method to light up his mind. And his witty one-liners are world-famous.

Similarly, Nikola Tesla and Gertrude Stein took their shower breaks to allow the shower of ideas to begin in their minds. You should try this too if you want to benefit as a creative member of society.
