You may best know him - or only really know him - as Noah "Puck" Puckerman on Fox's Glee, which ended this year. Mark Salling, who also tried (and failed) at having a solo singing career, was arrested yesterday after exploitative images of children, some under ten years of age, were found on his home computer. He was promptly arrested by the LAPD and released on $20,000 bail.

The investigation started when the actor's ex-girlfriend alerted police about the images. While at first the police thought that the girlfriend was just trying to get revenge, they did obtain a search warrant. They surprised Salling at his home and searched everything, including his computer. It was there that they found "over a thousand" images of children that were "younger than 15 or 16" and some possible under 13 years old, according to NY Daily News.

After writers cut down on Salling’s appearance on the show to focus on fan favorites, he tried to move onto new projects before Glee’s end earlier this year. According to the actor's IMDB page, he set to film the low-budget pic "Adi Sankar's Gods and Monsters" opposite Denise Richards and has appeared in several other low budge horror films. The actor currently doesn’t have a manager or a team that could be reached out to for comment.

He was also notably accused of sexual battery after an ex-girlfriend alleged that he forced her to have sex without a condom. The case was eventually settled out of court and he ended up paying over $2 million.

It should be said that the actor hasn't been convicted of the crime yet, and according to US protocol, he is innocent until proven guilty.
