Volkswagen just released a teaser image on Twitter which highly resembles the Microbus.
The upcoming CES 2016 is less than a week away. The Global expo will see some of the biggest names in car manufacturers displaying their latest. Some of the big names include Chevy, Ford and even Google.
Amidst all the competition, Volkswagen is also amping up for its display. Volkswagen had previously promised it will deliver a new and completely electric car concept.
The new concept will make its debut at the CES 2016. Autocar claimed the car will be a long-range EV revival of the legendary Microbus. Then a teaser image was released by Volkswagen showing the EV concept.
The image displayed what could be called an upgraded version of the Microbus. The image showed the front of a vehicle with a little van-like shape.
Now Volkswagen has released a latest teaser for its EV concept. The latest teaser image by Volkswagen has been released on Twitter. The image caption says their latest display and control concept will be released at the upcoming CES 2016.
According to VW, their CES keynote will be focusing on the latest developments in electric mobility. Volkswagen will also focus on the next-generation connectivity.
The statements seem to be a long ways away from Volkswagen’s latest diesel emissions scandal. The new concept probably won’t be called ‘Microbus’ is most assuredly based on Volkswagen’s most iconic model.
