CES 2016: Star Wars Force Band by Sphero Makes You a Jedi

Sphero unveiled a Force Band to control their BB-8 droid like a Jedi master.

Sphero, maker of the coolest Star Wars BB-8 Droid toy, has unveiled the Star Wars Force Band by Sphero at the CES 2016.

Like a true Jedi, you can control your BB-8 App-Enabled Droid with just a wave of your hand. Designed with an authentic Star Wars look and feel, the Force Band attaches to your wrist and allows you to use authentic Jedi Force gestures to operate BB-8.

Learn to control your Droid by mastering moves like Force push, pull, and drive. BB-8 will follow you around based on the motion of your arm and the direction your body moves.

Unlock new ways to play with BB-8 and train yourself in the ways of the Jedi with sounds, vibrations, and LED lights built right into the band.

The Force Band is compatible with BB-8 by Sphero. The Force Band will add new value to the BB-8. The only issue is that you still have to wait until Fall of 2016 to purchase the Sphero Forceband. Watch below a video of a boy controlling a BB-8 with the Force Band prototype.
