The bra will be able to replace Fitbit and the Apple watch as a means to measure heart rates and steps.
OMsignal is a start-up based in San Francisco. At the CES 2016, OMsignal has introduced a revolutionary product for women. OMsignal has launched the OMbra at the CES 2016.
The OMbra is the world’s first smart bra and saw its official debut at the CES 2016. The bra is capable of many smart functions and aims to measure the biometrics of the wearer.
The OMbra is capable of replacing even the Fitbit or Apple Watch when it comes to measuring heart rate and steps. The innovation in OMbra is that the tech comes in a piece of clothing already worn daily.
Shaz Khang is the chief marketing officer at OMsignal. According to Khang women gravitate towards wearables. However women don't want an item they have to put on or worry about every day. If women do wear an item all day they want info from it.
"Women gravitate towards wearables, but they don't want an item they have to put on or worry about every day," Khang told USAToday. And "if they're going to be wearing it all day, they want to get more information."
The OMbra is the perfect solution since it comes in a wearable which is necessary every day. The OMbra also provides additional smart uses without having to wear unnecessary devices.
According to OMsignal the OMbra will be available in the market by spting 2016. The starting price for the OMbra is $150. The OMbra already has an official site and pre-orders are being accepted there.
