LG Electronics has joined hands with many with premier content providers, film studios and TV technology companies. LG will demonstrate today a host of HDR content and its latest HDR technologies, allowing CES 2016 visitors to experience firsthand how the superior contrast ratio and perfect black of LG's new OLED TVs makes them the perfect platform for HDR content.
LG will be announcing a number of partnerships at CES 2016. The list of partners includes premier content providers, film studios and TV technology companies. All of the partnerships aim to deliver high-quality high dynamic range (HDR) content. The options will be available to the consumers in 2016.

On Wednesday, January 6th, at CES 2016, LG will demonstrate a host of HDR content and its latest HDR technologies. Visitors will see both the superior contrast ratio and perfect black of LG's new OLED TVs. The experience will demonstrate how the tech makes them the perfect platform for HDR content.
The current LG 2016 OLED TV line will support all current HDR formats. The line will come in exceptional pure black and rich colors. HDR formats such as HDR10 and DolbyVision HDR technology will be supported.
Such features make the LG TV the first to be compatible with both formats. The LG 2016 OLED 4K TVs are expected to be certified as ‘Ultra HD Premium’.
The LG TVs are designed to meet the stringent premium performance requirements. The requirements include HDR, peak luminance, black levels and wide color gamut etc.
The OLED tech further improves the HDR content. It achieves even brighter highlights, enhanced shadow detail and dimension, and colors. LG has teamed up with Netflix and Amazon to provide HDR streaming content.
