Kia Super Bowl 50 Ad Features Kia Optima

The Kia Super Bowl 50 commercial will be about the new Kia Optima.

Kia is back at the Super Bowl. Today the South Korean car maker revealed that the Kia Super Bowl 50 ad will feature the Kia Optima. 

The Kia Optima campaign, which began with the series of "Next Level" spots starring NBA All-Star Blake Griffin, will on Super Bowl Sunday when Kia returns for the 7th consecutive time in the Super Bowl broadcast with a 60-second ad for the next generation Kia Optima.

Today Kia launched two new commercials that are narrated by Hollywood actor Christopher Walken titled "Middle C" and "Cookie Cutter." Watch the first new Kia commercials below.

"Our marketing efforts are built on the core principle of challenging people to discover the exciting new Kia and question everything they think they know about the brand," said Michael Sprague, chief operating officer and EVP, KMA. "Kia is a recognized industry leader in styling and quality, and like the all-new Optima, these new ads stand out from the competition with the assistance of someone who knows a thing or two about being distinctive."

The all-new 2016 Kia Optima features European styling, a premium interior and significant ride and handling improvements. Kia's best-selling car offers three engine choices, including a new 1.6-liter turbocharged four-cylinder that's mated to a seven-speed Dual Clutch Transmission (DCT). The all-new Optima is built at Kia's plant in West Point, Georgia.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.

The Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show will be performed by Coldplay. The British band is featuring Beyonce as special guest.

CBS is broadcasting the Super Bowl 50. The Super Bowl 2016 game will be preceded by a weeklong series of public events held throughout the Bay Area. The Super Bowl City fan village, the NFL Experience and the Media Center will be hosted in San Francisco.

The Super Bowl 50 will get a week long treatment on CBS involving specials and Late Night take overs. The Super Bowl 50 Kickoff Time is at 6:30pm ET.
