The video reveals the stage design. The complete stage in the center of the field spells out the word "Love." Some visual designs featured in the video show fireworks. The Super Bowl game kicks off at 3:30pm local time. The sun sets though already about 5:15pm at this time of the year. So it should be dark enough for fireworks at the time of the Halftime Show.
There will be hundreds of Coldplay fans on the field that are supposed to create the energy for the band's performance.
Chris Martin says that the band is trying to crystalize their whole career into 12 minutes. The behind the scenes video was shot at the time Coldplay was 9 weeks away from the Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show. At that time the whole performance was still vague.
