The Ford Fusion line-up features a new all-wheel-drive and a midsize sedan along with two new hybrid models.
The Ford Fusion line-up has continued to be a game changer. The line-up of the midsize sedans is also the most technologically advanced ever. It includes two hybrid models, a mid-size sedan and a Fusion V6 Sport.

The line-up is engineered to leave other family sedans in the dust. The new all-wheel drive is the Fusion V6 Sport. Similarly the mid-size sedan in the line-up is the new Fusion Platinum.
The Fusion V6 Sport and the Fusion Platinum both feature the three EcoBoost engine. The line-up also contains the plug-in hybrids called the Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi. The hybrids are a novelty since neither Toyota nor Honda offered the same in midsize sedans.
Raj Nair is the executive vice president and chief technical officer at Ford. According to Nair, the Fusion line-up offers people a lot more. The line-up contains helpful technology, beautiful design and a more rewarding driving experience.
“Fusion offers people a lot more car – including helpful technology, beautiful design and a more rewarding driving experience than other midsize sedans,” said Raj Nair, Ford executive vice president and chief technical officer, Global Product Development.
According to Ford, the Fusion V6 Sport is a performance sedan. The Fusion V6 Sport is equipped with a twin-turbocharged 2.7-liter EcoBoost V6. The engine delivers a projected 325 horsepower and 350 lb.-ft. of torque.
The Fusion Hybrid and Fusion Energi, plug-in hybrids, come with new software in both. The hybrids delivers an even more refined and engaging drive for customers.
The hybrids are technology-packed electrified vehicles. They offer the EcoGuide system to provide drivers real-time coaching for better fuel economy.

Similarly the Fusion Platinum is designed for even greater levels of refinement. The Fusion Platinum features the award winning 2.0-liter EcoBoost and all-wheel drive. The interior consists of door trim panels wrapped in antiqued Cocoa leather. The line-up will be available by summer 2016.
