The toy set will be created by the LEGO Speed Champions to bring the excitement of the race-track to children.
Ford is working with LEGO Speed Champions to produce a Lego set based on its sports cars. The cars available in the Lego sets are the Ford Mustang and the F-10 Raptor.

According to Lego, they will bring the excitement of the racetrack to people’s living rooms. The first-ever Mustang and F-150 Raptor LEGO sets will be for the kid in all of us.
According to Ford, many of them grew up playing with LEGOs. So the collaboration is dream project for people at Ford, including the engineers. Ford also praised the LEGO Group saying they are one of the world’s top toy companies. The set will be for children and adults around the globe.
“The LEGO Group is one of the world’s top toy companies, and is loved by children and adults around the globe,” said Joe Hinrichs, Ford president, The Americas. “Many of us grew up playing with LEGO, so this is a dream project for all of us – including our engineers.”
The 185-piece Mustang Lego kit will include a time board and race driver. Similarly the 664-piece F-150 Raptor Lego set will include many destinations.
The raptor Lego set will have a well-equipped garage, trailer, a drag racing Christmas tree and Model A hot rod. A crew of Ford workers will also be present in the sets to ensure top-quality work.

According to Wilfert each LEGO Ford car tells a story. The Ford sets will have infinite play possibilities. The new Ford sets will allow kids to play out their ultimate car fantasies.

“Each LEGO Ford car tells a story and has infinite play possibilities. With these new sets, kids can play out their ultimate car fantasies. They are able to role play and become the LEGO mini-figure, stepping into the greatest cars on earth.”
Ford and LEGO will work closely on the licensing and design teams throughout development and product design. Every detail including packaging and marketing materials will be seen over by both groups.
The price tag of the Mustang Lego set will be $14.99, while F-150 Raptor Lego will be available for $49.99.
