Tom Brady going to his 10th AFC Championship Game on the Way to Super Bowl 50

Next Sunday marks the 10th time Tom Brady plays in the AFC Conference Championships with the New England Patriots.

38-year-old Tom Brady will play his 10th AFC Championship game on Sunday, Jan. 24. Josh Adler at NBC Sports makes Brady's record achievement visual. Tom Brady made more AFC title game appearances than 27 teams have made in the history of their franchises.

This is an NFL record and Tom Brady never expected to achieve this.

He said on radio station WEEI: "It’s beyond what I’d ever imagined in my wildest dreams. I remember the first one I ever participated in, which was in Pittsburgh. We had to fly there on a Friday. I missed Friday of practice so I could do a press conference at the site of the game. It was the first time it really felt like, wow, this is a big deal. Fifteen years later, to be a part of 10 of those, I never imagined that any of this was ever even possible."

Tom Brady won already four Super Bowls with the Patriots and if he prevails against Peyton Manning's Broncos, he will be playing his 7th Super Bowl. He then has a shot at his 5th Super Bowl title.

Right now Tom Brady shares the #1 spot in the list of quarterbacks with most Super Bowl wins with Terry Bradshaw and Joe Montana. A 5th win will make Tom Brady alone the quarterback with the most Super Bowl wins in the history of the NFL.

The New England Patriots and Denver Broncos AFC conference championship game will kick off at 3:05pm on CBS, Sunday.

The NFC Championship game between the Carolina Panthers and Arizona Cardinals will kick off at 6:40pm on FOX.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event.
