PepsiCo revealed today new details about Mountain Dew Kickstart Super Bowl 50 Ad.

The Mountain Dew Kickstart Super Bowl 50 Ad is supposed to be hilarious says PepsiCo in an announcement today. The company already revealed in December to run Kickstart Super Bowl 50 commercial

Today the Mtn Dew Kickstart brand adds four new flavors that will go on sale in on Monday of next week. The new Kickstart flavors are Midnight Grape, Watermelon, Blueberry Pomegranate and Blood Orange.

"Since the brand's introduction in 2013, Mountain Dew Kickstart has been an incredible success – one of our most exciting innovations of the past decade – and we're continuing to give guys the bold new flavors they're asking for with the introduction of Midnight Grape, Watermelon, Blueberry Pomegranate and Blood Orange," said Greg Lyons, senior vice president of marketing, Mountain Dew. 

In conjunction with the release of these new flavors, Mountain Dew will build upon its "It All Starts With a Kick" campaign, launching a 360 degree marketing program including engaging digital and social media, broadcast and out of home advertising, merchandising and experiential activations.  

For the first time since 2000, Mountain Dew will return to the Super Bowl. PepsiCo promises a hilarious TV ad that combines fan-favorite ad elements and is guaranteed to have fans talking. We will see how funny it is when we see it.

There is a good chance that the Mtn Dew Kickstart Superbowl 50 Ad is funny. Last year the brand ran a pre-game commercial that was entertaining. Everything wars twerking.

Mountain Dew Kickstart launched in 2013 and has been dubbed one of PepsiCo's most successful beverage product launches in the past decade, generating annual retail sales of more than $300 million.  With only 60 calories per 12 oz. serving, the four new low-calorie beverage flavors join six previously released flavors - Orange Citrus, Fruit Punch, Black Cherry, Limeade, Pineapple Orange Mango and Strawberry Kiwi.

Super Bowl 50 will take place on February 7, 2016, in Santa Clara, at the Levi's Stadium. The stadium is the home of the home of the San Francisco 49ers. Super Bowl 50 will be topping all previous Super Bowl's because of the anniversary. Marketers are flocking to Super Bowl 50 and it will be a huge TV event. The Super Bowl 50 Halftime Show will be performed by Coldplay. The British band is featuring Beyonce as special guest.

CBS is broadcasting the Super Bowl 50. The Super Bowl 2016 game will be preceded by a weeklong series of public events held throughout the Bay Area. The Super Bowl City fan village, the NFL Experience and the Media Center will be hosted in San Francisco.

The Super Bowl 50 will get a week long treatment on CBS involving specials and Late Night take overs. The Super Bowl 50 Kickoff Time is at 6:30pm ET.
