iPhone 5se Runs on A9 CPU

New report says that iPhone 5se will have same CPU as iPhone 6S.

The iPhone 5se rumor gets a new facet. End of last week 9to5Mac reported that Apple plans to release a 4-inch iPhone 5se instead of the rumored iPhone 6C. The iPhone 5se would share the design of the iPhone 6. Initially it was reported that the iPhone 5se runs on the A8 and M8 chips used in the Phone 6.

9to5Mac reports today that Apple is using the faster A9 CPU in the iPhone 5se. This means the iPhone 5se will have about the same performance as the iPhone 6S.

The A9 and M9 also enable the always-on Siri functionality. Users can just say "Hey Siri" to get Siri's attention. Apple is supposed to offer the iPhone 5se with 16GB, 32GB and 64GB storage options.

The iPhone 5SE is supposed to be introduced in mid-March. Even now that the new mini iPhone is offering up to date performance, I am still not excited about it. The small screen is a deal breaker for me personally.

MacRumors did a poll on preferred iPhone screen-size and 16% want a 4-inch iPhone. 43% want a 5.5-inch iPhone and 41% want the screen size to be 4.7-inch. This result is after almost 15,000 votes, so this is representative. The question is if the iPhone 5se is reaching new customers that have used an Android phone so far. You can participate in the vote below.
