The Apple Q1 2016 earnings call is tomorrow, Jan. 26.
The Apple Q1 2016 earnings call is scheduled for January 26 at 5pm ET. This is the crucial quarter that includes the Holiday shopping season. Apple's Q1 numbers are responsible for a large part of the annual revenues of the company.
The AAPL Stock is trading at slightly above $100 ahead of the earnings call.
The Q1 2015 revenue was a record-breaking $74.6 billion, with $18 billion in net profit. Apple beat the previous year by almost $20 billion in revenue (30% increase).
It is unlikely that Apple will again make another jump like that in the Q1 2016 numbers. Apple had a solid year, but is seen to "only" match last year's revenues for the quarter. This is was also the forecast by the company in the last earnings call, setting the projected revenue $75.5 to $77.5 billion.
Apple's Q1 2016 is the first full quarter that includes iPhone 6S sales. The iPhone sales number is the most important indicator for Apple investors. Apple has sold 74.5 million iPhones in the fiscal Q1 of 2015.
We don't expect Apple to make any announcements about new products including the rumored iPhone 5se, which is supposed to be released in March.
