The all-new F-Type SVR has been confirmed to hit 200 miles per hour with a reported horsepower of 567.

Jaguar just announced some very good news. The new Jaguar F-Type SVR will make its grand debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March of 2016.

Last week, statistics regarding the upcoming F-Type SVR were leaked to the public. Since then, Jaguar has confirmed the hardtop F-Type SVR will be capable of hitting 200 miles per hour. Other than the mileage, the British car maker hasn’t revealed much.

Jaguar didn’t go much further in confirming other details from last week's leak. Although expectations are the F-Type SVR will have a reported 567 horsepower. The F-Type SVR could also have 516 pound-feet of torque.

The leaked reports also claimed the F-Type is capable of a 3.7-second sprint to 62 mph. What Jaguar has revealed is the new F-Type will be ‘lighter, faster, and more powerful’.

Furthermore the F-Type has been called the ‘All-weather supercar’. The statement was made by the Special Operations boss, John Edwards. The statement hints the F-Type will send its power to all four wheels.

"The new F-TYPE SVR is the first series production Jaguar to be developed by Special Vehicle Operations and benefits from everything we know about precision engineering, performance and design," Jaguar said in a statement.

"The result is a 200mph, all-weather supercar that you can drive every day - we even made a Convertible version so that enthusiasts can revel in the sound from the new titanium exhaust system."

The Jaguar F-Type SVR will hit the Geneva stage on the 1st of March, 2016. Jaguar will release a complete array of images and details by 17th of February on the F-Type.

The new 2017 Jaguar F-TYPE SVR will go on sale in summer 2016. The new F-TYPE SVR is the first Jaguar to wear the SVR badge.

According to Jaguar, the car was developed to exploit the two-seat aluminum sports car's full potential. Jaguar further states the car still retains the comfort and duality of character inherent to all Jaguar cars.
