Aston Martin will produce the Vulcan sports car for a whopping price of $3.4 million. Even though to some the price may seem ridiculous, only 24 of the Vulcan will ever be produced by the British auto maker.
Aston Martin will only dispatch 24 of them worldwide and only three will be available in the United States. One of the Vulcans already arrived in the Midwest in the fall of 2015.
The Vulcan is undeniably an unreal automotive specimen. The sports car is not just garishly handsome it is also blindingly quick. So makes sense the sports car will cost as much as 47 single-family homes in Cleveland, Ohio.
The Aston Martin Vulcan is almost entirely made up of carbon fiber. The Vulcan is also powered by the bespoke 7.0-liter V-12.
The super engine is capable of delivering more than 800 horsepower. To ensure owner safety Aston Martin has limited the power of the Vulcan, according to MotorAuthority.
The owners need to complete a graduated series of driver courses before the full power is unleashed. The only other cars comparable to the Vulcan are the exclusive Ferrari FXX K and McLaren P1 GTR.
The first Vulcan in the US is listed for sale on the duPont Registry via Cleveland Motorsports for $3,400,000. The 2016 Aston Martin Vulcan is shown in Fiamma Red paint and holds two black Recaro racing seats.
