The report stated by DigiTimes revealed that the second-gen Apple Watch is expected to enter the mass production phase by the second quarter of 2016.
The source also revealed that Quant Computer is going to be the only manufacturer of the Smartwatch, responsible for the production.
Initially, Apple had decided to handle some of the production orders to Foxconn Electronics.
However, the company later decided to restrict the order to Quanta only.
The reason behind the limitations for production is rumored that Apple is not expecting high sales for the upcoming, second-generation Apple Watch.
Moreover, the rumor has it that the company has reduced the shipment twice.
Once it was said to be the fourth quarter in 2015 and the again now in 2016.
