We heard rumors that Samsung has been planning to release a phone leasing program for its Galaxy Smartphones.
The reports and the rumors erupted in September last year. The Samsung program in discussion is similar to what Apple currently offers us.
A recent report from Reuters now suggests that the program will be launched with the upcoming Galaxy S7 flagship.
The news come from a source from the Samsung’s homeland; South Korea.
Samsung Galaxy S7 lineup is expected to be revealed at MWC next month.
This means that those who would be buying Galaxy S7 will be able to pay the price in monthly installments.
Moreover, the purchasers would also be able to upgrade their device every year.
Those who weren’t aware, Apple announced this similar program called as the iPhone Upgrade Program at the iPhone 6S and 6S Plus announcement previous year.
Those who opt for this program have to sign a two-year financing contract.
After signing the contract, you would have to pay around $32 every month.
As a result of signing the agreement, you would get a brand new unlocked iPhone every year directly from Apple’s official retail store.
