Samsung’s 2016 Smart TV platform content now enjoys over 2.5 million unique visitors per week in the UK, resulting in 33% increase in users within the past 6 months and reinforcing the TV brand’s dominance with viewers in the UK and beyond.

The new Smart TV platform content offering is more or less the same with Samsung’s award-winning SUHD TVs, raising home entertainment to levels users never dreamed of a couple of years back. The innovativeness of the SUHD TV exceeds the best previous displays offered, and it comes with superior picture quality and a matching contrast and spectacular color and brightness that continue to fascinate all TV viewers.

The fascinating content and viewing experience of the Samsung Smart TV is complemented with its simple and easy-to-use functionality, not to even speak of the usable apps that users can use without the need for compelling and extended contracts.

“2015 was an exciting year for content, we have seen a significant shift in the way people consume content which has been reflected in the remarkable growth in users of the Samsung Smart Hub over the past year,” said Rhian James, content product manager at Samsung Electronics UK & Ireland.

James noted that more users continue to interact with the content the Smart TV has on offer and the product is making a statement as the top TV brand in the UK, prompting the company to ensure that consumers have complete access to the widest choice of content possible.

“We are pleased to be working with an amazing range of partners to extend our quality offering, giving our Smart TV users access to the content they want more of,” he added.
