New Opel Mokka X to Debut at Geneva Motor Show

The new version of the crossover by Opel will make its debut on the 3rd of March, 2016.

The Opel Mokka X is about to debut at the incoming 2016 Geneva Motor Show. It will be the world premiere of the new Mokka X on March 3rd. The Mokka has previously sold more than 500,000 units across Europe.

Now with Mokka X, Opel is freshening up its small crossover. The debut will show the updated exterior design, new interior and new generation infotainment systems. It will undoubtedly be the best-connected small all-terrain vehicle on the market.

The ‘X’ will be used on future SUV and crossover vehicles of Opel. The designation will emphasize a more adventurous and rugged persona. The persona will be more rugged than the mainstream models.

The ‘X’ will start off from the Mokka. The new Mokka X features wing-shaped horizontal grilles. The surface is more sculpted surfaces with less plastic inserts.

The LED daytime running lights on the Mokka X sport a double wing signature. According to Opel the improvements give Mokka X a wider and more masculine stance.

An extra option is double wing signature featured in the tail lamps. The profile of the Mokka X remains similar to the Mokka. But the Mokka X will feature new colors such as Amber Orange and Absolute Red. 

The interior features a new dashboard similar in design to that of the all-new Astra. The center console has 7- and 8-inch displays of the new-gen infotainment systems.

The Mokka X boasts the 1.6-liter 136 PS diesel engine. It also has a new-generation 152 PS 1.4-liter Direct Injection Turbo unit variant.
