Watch New KFC Colonel Jim Gaffigan

KFC will run a commercial during the Super Bowl 50 Pre-game show introducing the new Colonel Sanders.

As reported, KFC said good-bye to Norm MacDonald and a new commercial has just hit Youtube that introduces the new Colonel Sanders. KFC will run the ad titled "Dream" starring comedian Jim Gaffigan during the Super Bowl 50 Pre-game show on Sunday.

The 30-second ad shows Colonel Sanders waking from an apparently recurring nightmare in which Norm MacDonald has stolen the Colonel’s identity and takes credit for KFC’s new Nashville Hot Chicken.

Beginning last summer, with Darrell Hammond’s run as the iconic founder, KFC sales have increased as the brand returns to advertising its core principle of doing things the “hard” way and celebrating its take on Southern cooking.

A companion spot titled "Nightmare," in which Colonel Sanders wakes up from yet another chicken-related nightmare concerning his Nashville Hot Chicken will run later this month.
