Milo Ventimiglia confirms his appearance in the four-episode reboot of the Gilmore Girls.

Jess is Back! That’s what Milo Ventimiglia wrote on his Twitter when he posted the picture of the script of Gilmore Girls. The 2000 hit mother-daughter series’ cast reunited after a long time and after much of fans wishing and the cast consultation, Netflix picked up the show’s reboot consisting of four episodes.

Such reboots always rely on how many of the original cast will want to come back for the short period of time. Alexis Biedel and Lauren Graham will be returning for the show. Edward Hermann passed away last year which means that we won’t be seeing anymore of Richard Gilmore.

In that time, Milo Ventimiglia confirmed that he will be joining the cast for the reboot. Milo played one of Rory’s love interest and appeared in the season 2 and 3 as part of the main cast while reprising his role in season 4 and 6.

Looks like Milo will be becoming Jess one more time. Although Jess and Rory’s has an on again, off again relationship, but the fans always thought that they were meant to be.

Milo is certainly excited to re-join the group. According to People, he apologized to the fans for making them wait so long. He then tweeted a picture of the Gilmore Girls reboot script with a pen resting on top of it. The caption for the picture said that it was a great time to get back on set with some friends.

Gilmore Girls fans are definitely celebrating because news of Milo’s decision to join the reboot comes just after Matt Czuchry confirmation as well. Matt played boyfriend Logan Huntzberger toward the end of the series.

He was also confirmed to come back. Fans are rooting for a possible showdown between the two men. There is however one actor who has everyone’s eyes on him to confirm he will be coming back as well.

Rory’s first love Dean Forester played by Jared Padalecki seems to be the fan favorite to return. Jared is currently busy with the 11th season of Supernatural and has not confirmed whether he would be coming back or not.

The good news is Milo and Matt will definitely make some great romantic match up for Rory in the brief season.
