The world's largest Rubik's Cube is about 5 feet wide and weighs around 220 pounds, making it 20,000 times bigger than the standard Rubik's Cube.

All of us are quite familiar with the Rubik’s Cube and love to solve it, but now a new version of the popular puzzle has been created and it’s nothing you have ever seen. It's the biggest fully functional Rubik’s Cube ever.

The new Rubik’s Cube is about 5 feet wide and weighs around 220 pounds, making it 20,000 times bigger than the normal Rubik’s Cube. It requires not only mind but also a lot of energy to solve this giant-sized puzzle.

A veteran puzzle maker Tony Fisher is the creator of this world’s largest Rubik’s Cube. He released a video as well where he has demonstrated how the puzzle works. In the video, Fisher is seen moving the cube outside the house, walking around it and twisting and turning its multicolored squares from one place to another.

Fisher’s ultimate goal is to set a new world record for the largest Rubik’s Cube ever. He wanted to make an even bigger puzzle but he had to stop at its current size since that cube would be unable to go through the doors of his house and would also be difficult to shift inside and out over and over again. Moreover, he wanted to make sure that it would not go beyond the capacity of a person and should be easily operated by a single person just like the original puzzle.

Building such massive Rubik’s Cube was a big challenge because it was difficult to find the raw materials for the cube. For instance, he could not find stickers that would be placed on the sides wider than 17.7 inch rolls.
