Watch the Samsung Unpacked Galaxy S7 Event in Virtual Reality

Samsung will for the first time live stream the Samsung Unpacked event at the Mobile World Congress in virtual reality.

Samsung is surprisingly on the forefront of the current virtual reality wave with the Gear VR. The South Korean consumer electronics giant pushes ahead with virtual reality at the Mobile World Congress 2016.

The Samsung Unpacked 2016 event will be streamed live in virtual reality video. This is the first time event will be presented in 360 live streaming video. Samsung offers the 360 immersive video experience on PCs, mobile phones and of course for the Gear VR.

On the PC, viewers can watch the Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event from the auditorium, stage left, stage right or from center stage. To watch the Samsung event on a mobile phone, the free app "Unpacked 360 View" is required available in the Google Play and the Apple iTunes store. Again users can choose between four different angles.

To watch on Gear VR, users need to get the Unpacked 360 View app in the Oculus Store.

The Samsung Unpacked 2016 event will be streamed live on this page.

The Samsung Galaxy Unpacked event at the Mobile World Congress 2016 will begin streaming on February 21 at 7 p.m. (CET).
