Geneva Motor Show: Arash to Display 2080-HP Version of AF10

The superpower version of the AF10 will be displayed at the Geneva Motor Show 2016.

Arash was just another one of the British boutique automakers a while ago. But now Arash has finally earned its time in the limelight. The auto maker gained recognition with its new 2,080-horsepower version of the AF10.

The vehicle with such immense power will be displayed at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. According to AutoBlog, Arash claims that the hypercar can accelerates to 60 miles per hour in 2.8 seconds.

Similarly the AF10 is also being hailed with a top speed in excess of 201 mph. The hybrid powertrain of the AF10 is responsible for producing such output. The vehicle is equipped with a 6.2-liter supercharged V8 engine. The engine alone is capable of producing 900 horsepower. 

Additionally the AF10 has four electric motors which give another total 1,180 hp. Two motors are on the front axle and two at the rear of the vehicle. The total torque of the AF10 is an equally astounding 1,682 pound-feet. In order to handle the immense power the AF10 has five gearboxes.

The AF10 will be available in six-speed manual or paddle-shift automatic for the V8. The design evolution of the AF10 has more sculpted sides paired with a bizarre face. The AF10 is made up of carbon fiber reinforced plastic panels.

Even the seats and dashboard are made from the carbon fiber composite material. The price of a single standard version AF10 hypercar is a hefty 1.1 million pounds or $1.6 million. Meanwhile the Racer model of the AF10 is worth 1.2 million pounds equal to $1.7 million.
