The station wagon has retained a few features of the S4 sedan. Features such as the lightweight construction and a digital instrument cluster. Similarly the 2017 Audi S4 Avant has impeccable build quality which makes the S4 an enticing package.
The S4 Avant will debut on the 1st of March at the Swiss convention but won’t be available in the US, according to MotorAuthority. The S4 Avant has 53.3 cubic feet of storage space. The car also features a powered cover and a powered tailgate.
The S4 has an all-new 3.0-liter V-6 engine with a single turbocharger. The engine can deliver an output of 354 horsepower and 369 pound-feet of torque. The sole transmission of the car is an eight-speed automatic.
The new S4 Avant can allegedly go to 0-62 mph acceleration in around 4.9 seconds. The station wagon is only 0.2 seconds slower than the sedan version.

Electronically the top speed of the station wagon is limited to 155 mph. Since it is a wagon the slower acceleration makes sense and at 3,693 lb is about 100 lb heavier than the sedan. The S4 Avant is still 165 lb lighter than the predecessor as it adopted the lightweight MLB Evo platform.
