To build up the Oscars 2016 anticipation watch Chris Rock delivering his Oscars monologue when he first hosted the Academy Awards.

Back at the Oscars 2005, there have been 4 Black nominees. "So Great. It is like the Def Oscar Jam tonight," said Rock in the first seconds of his opening monologue. At the Oscars 2016 there is not a single Black person nominated for an Academy Award. This is the second year in a row. There is no limit to what Chris Rock will say in his opening monologue. On his Twitter account the Tweet "The Oscars. The White BET Award" is still pinned to the top.

Watch below the 4 minute excerpts of from Chris Rock's opening monologue at the 77th Academy Awards. I am very much looking forward Chris Rock's opening monologue at the 88th Academy Awards.

The Oscars 2016 will be broadcasted live on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 7pm ET starting with the Oscars Red Carpet coverage. The award ceremony kicks off at 8:30pm ET.
