The 2016 Razzies award Fantastic Four and Fifty Shades of Grey the Worst Picture of 2015 Razzies.

The Razzies Awards ceremony took place last night in LA. The Razzies are the counter Oscars and are awarded to the worst performances in movies in the past year. Nominated for a Razzie Award in the Worst Movie category have been Fifty Shades of Grey, Fantastic 4, Jupiter Ascending, Paul Blart Mall Cop 2 and Pixels.

This year two movies got a Razzie for Worst Movie. The "winners" are Fifty Shades of Grey and Fantastic 4. This only can mean that the lead actor of Fifty Shades of Grey is the target of the 36th Razzies. Jamie Dornan won the Golden Raspberry Razzie Award for Worst Actor 2015.

And that is not enough. Dakota Johnson, the lead actress in Fifty Shades of Grey received the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Actress 2015.

Kaley Cuoco scored twice the Razzie for worst supporting actress in Alvin & The Chipmunks: Road Chip (Voice) and The Wedding Ringer.

The worst supporting male actor is Eddie Redmayne in Jupiter Ascending. Redmayne can redeem himself at the Oscars. He is nominated for an Academy Award for Best Actor.

The Razzie 2016 for worst director goes to Josh Trank for his work on Fantastic 4.

The Razzies Award ceremony revealed that Sylester Stallone won the Golden Raspberry Redeemer Award: from All-Time Razzie Champ to 2015 Oscar Contender for Creed.

The Razzies were created in 1980 as the comical counterpoint to Tinsel Town's annual glut of self congratulatory awards by John Wilson.

Now that the Razzies 2016 are behind us all attention is on the Oscars 2016. The Oscars 2016 takes place at the Dolby Theatre at Hollywood & Highland Center in Hollywood and will be broadcasted live on ABC on Sunday, Feb. 28 at 7pm ET starting with the Oscars Red Carpet coverage. The award ceremony kicks off at 8:30pm ET, hosted by comedian Chris Rock. His monologue will be the most anticipated one in years because of the #OscarsSoWhite controversy.
