  • L’Automobile Magazine imagines BMW G20 3 Series design in illustrations!

It is rumored the next-generation BMW G20 3 series will feature a freshened and radical design.

Rumor has it the upcoming next-generation BMW G20 3 Series will feature a radical and fresh design. However the L’Automobile Magazine in France isn’t going to wait for the official debut.

The magazine has drawn up some new renderings of the BMW G20 3 Series. The renderings are based on the current F30 design and platform. The images features in the French magazine show an evolutionary design.

The BMW G20 3 Series design is built atop the present 3 Series with some visual upgrades. The imagined illustrations feature slimmer, full LED headlights. It also shows an aggressive front bumper with large air intakes.

Also added in the illustrations are the OLED taillights introduced by the new M4 GTS. The upcoming G20 3 Series is currently in its testing phase and was caught on the streets of Germany. The car had been heavily camouflaged hiding all the fine design details.

Previously it was reported the BMW bosses want the next 3 series to be clearly distinguished from its predecessor. So basically the interior and the exterior design of the G20 3 may be completely redefined. The future 3 Series will be luxurious and full of tech. 

So folks can expect some cutting edge design lines from the upcoming G20 3 Series. The BMW G20 may also have more sculpted surfaces than the current generation. It was revealed Chrome will be used in the upcoming G20 3 series.

The BMW may also modernize its engine kit with an electrically driven compressor. A powerful 48V system which can recirculate 20 kW and more can also be expected. The BMW 3 Series will hit production by 2018.
