The Levante aims to compete with the luxury performance SUV Porsche Cayenne. The Maserati Levante will go on sale in the US later in 2016. The Levante features sculpted styling inspired from existing Maserati models such as the Quattroporte.
According to Maserati, the Levante will be featured with both gasoline and diesel engine options. All variants of the Maserati Levante will be equipped with ‘intelligent’ all-wheel drive.
The drive will adjust in response to changing road conditions. Maserati has not yet announced any pricing details for the Levante. However since the Cayenne sells in the range of$60,000 to over $150,000, the Levante price may be near it.
Other vehicles to receive attention at the Geneva Motor Show are also small SUVs, according to CBSNews. One of them is a SUV being introduced by Audi. Audi will introduce the Q2, a subcompact SUV.
The Q2 is less expensive than the bigger Audi SUVs. The Q2 will be aimed at attracting younger buyers to the luxury brand Audi. The other small SUV to gain attention is the Volkswagen entrant SUV.
