The HTC One M10 is on its way and we have already heard a lot of rumors confirming the specs.
Don't Miss: Nintendo Switch: Everything You Need To Know
Just today, we got two new confirmations via techtastic regarding HTC’s upcoming flagship phone.
To start with, the name for the phone is confirmed and yes it is surely going to be M10.
The announcement is not official but the name of the device was found in drop-down list of devices in an HTC online survey form.
The other part of the news today was that we get a camera sample to try and judge just how compelling the shooter is.
The shot taken was a dirty keyboard and that’s it, nothing else! However, the picture showed us letter marking and dirt between the keys.
However, the wide f/1.9 aperture and the picture from so near aren’t proper justifications.
But, the new shooter is definitely refined and improved than the f/2.2 glass of the One M9.
HTC is still trying to compete with LG G5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 which have f/1.8 aperture and f/1.7, respectively.
The HTC’s setup is still better than Samsung’s focal length with a generously wide 26mm equivalent.
As for the leaked image, it is shot in 16:9 aspect and has a resolution of 2,250 x 4,000px.
In 4:3 aspect it would make for a 3,000 x 4,000px 12MP image, which is already suggested by previous rumors.
