  • Renault brings new Megane Sport Tourer & GT wagon at Swiss auto show!

The duo Megane Sport Tourer & Megane Sport Tourer GT will go on sale in the UK by winter 2016.

Renault presented not one but two versions of the Megane Sport Tourer at the 2016 Geneva Motor Show. One is the standard new Megane Sport Tourer and the other is the new Megane Sport Tourer GT.

The new Megane Sport Tourer has an intuitive, modular interior which comes with a choice of book arrangements. Meanwhile the Megane Sport Tourer GT features a large carrying capacity.

The Megane GT also features the 4CONTROL technology with four-whell steering. Both versions of the Megane Sport Tourer are due to go on sale in the UK in winter 2016.

The design of the new Megane Sport Tourer comes with balanced proportions. The standard Tourer is the lowest vehicle in its class but has the widest track to increase solidity on the road.

The front of the Megane Sport Tourer features C-shaped headlights with LED PURE VISION technology. The lights at the rear have the Edge Light technology creating an elegant 3D effect.

On the other hand the Renault Sport-designed GT features 18-inch diamond-cut wheels. The GT is also fitted with a chromed exhaust tailpipe reinforce a dynamic stance. The Megane Sport Tourer GT identity is emphasised by blue flourishes in the interior along with Iron Blue bodywork.

Three petrol engine options are available for the Megane Sport Tourer standard version. They are the Energy TCe 100, the Energy TCe 130 and the Energy TCe 130. For the GT version the only option is the Energy TCe 205 petrol engine.
