The latest scientific evidence says that the human hand is the work of a deity. This proof of a super intelligent being who designed the four fingers, palm and opposable thumb is making the scientists go into hysterics.
It is said that science and religion are like parallel lines that do not meet. Yet this is the paradox of our advanced times that a scientific journal had an article in it that corroborated religion.

A recent study, published in the journal PLOS ONE, went in depth into the muscular-articular coordination of the human hand. There were an equal number of men and women who were given various tasks to do with their hands.
As they performed the manual tasks, their hand movements which included grasping and manipulation were noted down and studied on an extensive basis by the researchers.
The conclusion reached by the experts surprised (or rather shocked) the rest of the scientific community. They seemed to be saying that evolution is an insufficient predictor of the infinite complexity and extreme coordination/dexterity of the human hand.
So they said that the human hand could only be the work of a Creator!
Two of the major twitterati who posted messages on www.twitter.com ridiculed this hypothesis. One of them said that the word “God” should not have been used in a strictly scientific journal. The other one asked how such unscientific lingo could have passed the peer review members. It was an outrage.
The article sure has sparked a storm of controversy. The creationists and the evolutionists are at each others throats. Furthermore, according to Nature, some of the editors of the journal are mad as hell and ready to resign unless the article is retracted from the journal’s pages.
After some debate, the journal’s heads decided to post a preliminary note affixed to the article saying that the mention of the word “Creator” with a capital “C” was unscientific and so the article was being retracted.
According to ScienceAlert, the twitterati labeled it a joke and asked how the article could have passed the scientific censor board that was the peer review. Scientists are furious over such a big glitch in the system.
The writers of the paper have issued an apology and said that they used the word inappropriately in a science journal since the English Language was not their native tongue.
According to ScientificAmerican, quality control will have to be closely monitored in the future. If such unscientific stuff gets published in a purely scientific journal, it shows the lazy habits of the editors and their higher-ups sitting their at the premises where the journal gets collated.
Finally, according to DailyMail, the authors of the article have stated that it was a misunderstanding. They just meant to use the word “God” within the context of their own cultural heritage.
Of course, the word shows a clear lack of professionalism and a weakness in the scientific rigour of the researchers. It is surmised that in the future, scientific journals will be more careful regarding what gets published and what is best kept for cultural, literary and artistic magazines.
