Profanity is not a new thing on SNL, but its rare. In here opening monologue, Ariana Grande let slip an "Oh, s!@t," which is profanity in its most innocent form. A source of Variety says that the line was unscripted and the censors are supposed to have it cleaned up for the West coast broadcast. Ariana Grande fans in the west might not be able to enjoy Grande's profanity on TV.
Ariana Grande killed it with impressions of other famous singers including Shakira, Rihanna and Britney Spears. We already know her amazing impersonation skills from Late Night TV appearances of Grande.
The profanity in the opening monologue was not the only "scandal" of Ariana Grande's SNL stint. During her performance of "Dangerous Woman" Ariana Grande suffered what US Weekly calls sensationally a "Wardrobe Malfunction." This is usually associated with accidental nudity, but in Ariana Grande's case it was just an issue of taking her jacket off.
For some reason the jacket did not fall off stayed awkwardly on her arm. Nothing to see here. NBC will release the highlights of the Ariana Grande SNL show on Youtube on Sunday.
