The new Chinese smartphone brand is not just planning to release one smartphone, but three this Spring.

Yesterday we reported about the Vernee Apollo smartphone featuring extreme specifications including 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, running on the 10-core Mediatek X20 MT6797. We received now more details from the Chinese smartphone startup. Besides the flagship Vernee Apollo the company plans to release two more mid-range smartphones in the April to May time frame.

The lowest priced Vernee smartphone (Vernee thor?) will run on the MediaTek MT6753 chipset with 3GB RAM and 16GB Storage. This phone will have a 5.5-inch screen and a 13MP camera. The MediaTek MT6753 is a 64-bit octa-core WorldMode 4G LTE platform based on the ARM Cortex-A53 64-bit processor with ARM Mali T720 graphics.

The second mid-range Vernee phone will adopt the MediaTek MT6795. The MT6795 is a new 64-bit LTE True Octa-core SoC with world's first 2K support. The chipset support 120Hz displays and the capability to create and playback 480 frames per second (fps) 1080p Full HD Super-Slow Motion videos. Vernee has not revealed yet the other specifications of this mid-range smartphone with high-end graphics performance.

Vernee has also disclosed to us that the company has been working on a virtual reality product for the past year. Expect a mobile virtual reality product from Vernee in the near future.

It is not clear yet through which channels  and in what markets the Vernee smartphones will be available.

Update: The price of the Vernee Apollo is only $399.99.
