Windows 10 Mobile Gets a Twitter App

Microsoft announced today Twitter for Windows 10 Mobile.

The Twitter app is already available for Windows 10 on PCs and tablets. Microsoft announced today the availability of the Twitter app for Windows 10 mobile. The few owners of a Lumia 950 or 950 XL can cheer now.

As reported earlier there is though hope for Windows 8.1 phone owners to get the Windows 10 mobile upgrade tomorrow, March 17. This would increase the target group for the new Twitter app for Windows 10 mobile considerably.

Features of Twitter for Windows 10 mobile include Moments and group Direct Messages. Users can shoot, edit, and Tweet video using their camera. Users can share a Tweet and add own commentary with quote Tweet.  It’s easier to follow conversations and users can check out top Tweets without logging in.

Windows 10 mobile users can chose between a white and a dark theme. The updated Twitter app for Windows 10 is available to download for free from the Windows Store today. Expect more features and improvements to come on Twitter for Windows in the future.
