iPhone SE Has Not Leaked 50 Hours Ahead of Apple March 21 Event

Apple is supposed to unveil the iPhone SE in two days. There is no leaked iPhone SE part that shows the new iPhone SE design. This is new.

In 50 hours Apple is expected to reveal the iPhone SE. For the first time in years an Apple executive will hold something up on stage that has not been seen before. All new iPhones in the past years have leaked through parts or have been left in bar (sic!) ahead of the official announcement.

The iPhone SE has been described with words. All substantial iPhone SE information comes from 9to5Mac. Their latest report says that the iPhone SE will be almost identical to the iPhone 5S. Rumors earlier suggested a more up-to-date design following the iPhone 6S.

There is no proof of any sorts besides 9to5Mac's report that the iPhone SE is indeed a retro iPhone. As said before the iPhone 5S is iconic and a re-release of the design can make sense. I like to compare it to the retro trend in cars. The car industry re-released the Mini, the Fiat 500 and the Beetle for instance.

The features of the iPhone SE are basically identical with the iPhone 6S. Only missing feature is 3D Touch. This means the iPhone SE runs on the same chips (A9, M9) and offers always on Siri, Apple Pay and a 12MP camera that can record 4K video.

If there is no leak of the iPhone SE in the next hours than the Apple March 21 media event will be really exciting. Let's see if Apple indeed found a way to stop parts leaking from it's Asian supply chain.

The Apple Media Event on March 21 at the Apple headquarters in Cupertino begins at 10am PDT. There will be a live online stream available of the event.

Apple is expected to unveil the 4-inch iPhone SE, a new small iPad Pro and new Apple Watch models. Read the latest iPhone SE News.
